Abstract: A method for concealing threat detection and notification code in a website code base comprises maintaining at least one beacon within the website code base. Each beacon is disguised as code for a resource request, and is adapted to transmit at least one signal identifying misappropriation of the website code base. • Publication number: 20240177577
Abstract: States of a current transaction are monitored at a terminal. The transaction states are mapped to guidance data and the guidance data is dynamically projected onto a surface that is adjacent to a peripheral of the terminal or dynamically rendered on a display situated on the surface. The guidance data corresponds to an action that an operator of the terminal is expected to take or refrain from taking with respect to the peripheral in order to facilitate progression of the transaction at the terminal. The presentation of the guidance data at the surface provides proximity-based and context-based feedback to the operator during the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20240179485
Abstract: An audio object including audio content and object metadata is received. The object metadata indicates an object spatial position of the audio object to be rendered by audio speakers in a playback environment. Based on the object spatial position and source spatial positions of the audio speakers, initial gain values for the audio speakers are determined. The initial gain values can be used to select a set of audio speakers from among the audio speakers. Based on the object spatial position and a set of source spatial positions at which the set of audio speakers are respectively located in the playback environment, a set of non-negative optimized gain values for the set of audio speakers is determined. The audio object at the object spatial position is rendered with the set of optimized gain values for the set of audio speakers.

  • Publication number: 20240176985
Abstract: In one implementation, a method is implemented by a neural network device and includes inputting a representation of topological structures in patterns of activity in a source neural network, wherein the activity is responsive to an input into the source neural network, processing the representation, and outputting a result of the processing of the representation. The processing is consistent with a training of the neural network to process different such representations of topological structures in patterns of activity in the source neural network.

  • Publication number: 20240178737
Abstract: A planar drive system has at least one stator assembly with a plurality of coil groups for generating a stator magnetic field, a stator surface above the stator assembly, and first and second rotors. The rotors each have a plurality of magnet units for generating a rotor magnetic field. The rotors can be moved above the stator surface in first and second directions, with the aid of an interaction of the stator magnetic field with the rotor magnetic field. A connection can be formed between the rotors with the aid of a coupling device. A controller is arranged to output control signals to the stator assembly. The stator assembly is configured to energize the coil groups on the basis of the control signals so that movements of the rotors, coordinated with one another with respect to the coupling device, are carried out with the aid of the stator magnetic field.

  • Publication number: 20240176310
Abstract: To configure a machine controller for a machine, a plurality of state signals of a first state space is read in, each state signal being assigned an optimized control signal. Using the state signals, a first signal converter is trained to convert state signals from the first state space into a second state space which is dimension-reduced in comparison with the first state space. A second signal converter is trained to reproduce corresponding optimized control signals by converting reduced state signals by means of the conversion rule. Thus, the machine controller is designed to convert a state signal of the machine into a reduced state signal by means of the trained first signal converter and to convert the reduced state signal into an optimized control signal by means of the trained second signal converter, the optimized control signal being used to control the machine.

  • Publication number: 20240178781
Abstract: An activation system for operating an electric machine includes a control circuit device for activating a rotor winding, and having a highside switch, a semiconductor component, and a de-excitation switch. A first terminal of the rotor winding is connectable to a positive supply terminal via the highside switch and to a negative supply terminal via the semiconductor component. A second terminal of the rotor winding is connectable to the negative supply terminal via the de-excitation switch. The activation system is configured to attain a secure state, when at least one fault is present, by disconnecting the rotor winding from the positive supply terminal and/or by de-exciting the rotor winding. A diagnosis may be carried out using an additional highside switch supplied with power via another activation circuit, and/or a fault detection circuit is provided, whose output signal does not change during a de-excitation.
