  • Patent number: 10418033
Abstract: Configurable core domains of a speech processing system are described. A core domain output data format for a given command is originally configured with default content portions. When a user indicates additional content should be output for the command, the speech processing system creates a new output data format for the core domain. The new output data format is user specific and includes both default content portions as well as user preferred content portions.

  • Publication number: 20190081949
Abstract: Systems and methods for proactively deleting applications and/or deactivating permissions granted thereto are described. A system determines a user's usage pattern of an application. The system also determines a standard usage pattern associated with the application. The standard usage pattern may be determined from application usage patterns of multiple users of the system. When the user's usage pattern deviates from the standard usage pattern, the system may cause the application to be deleted from one or more of the user's devices. The system may also deactivate user permissions associated with the application when the user's usage pattern deviates from the standard usage pattern. The system also outputs an indication to the user soliciting whether the system to re-download the application and/or reactivate the permissions.

  • Publication number: 20180374207
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and correcting defective products include capturing at least one image of a product with at least one image sensor to generate an original image of the product. An encoder encodes portions of an image extracted from the original image to generate feature space vectors. A decoder decodes the feature space vectors to reconstruct the portions of the image into reconstructed portions by predicting defect-free structural features in each of the portions according to hidden layers trained to predict defect-free products. Each of the reconstructed portions are merged into a reconstructed image of a defect-free representation of the product. The reconstructed image is communicated to a contrastor to detect anomalies indicating defects in the product.

  • Publication number: 20180374569
Abstract: Systems and methods for diagnosing a patient condition include a medical imaging device for generating an anatomical image. A reconstructor reconstructs the anatomical image by reconstructing portions of the anatomical image to be a healthy representation of the portions and merging the portions into the anatomical image to generate a reconstructed image. A contrastor contrasts the anatomical image with the reconstructed image to generate an anomaly map indicating locations of difference between the anatomical image and the reconstructed image. An anomaly tagging device tags the locations of difference as anomalies corresponding to anatomical abnormalities in the anatomical image, and a display displays the anatomical image with tags corresponding to the anatomical abnormalities.

  • Patent number: 10027662
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for dynamically authenticating a user are disclosed. A speech-controlled device captures a spoken command, and sends audio data corresponding thereto to a server. The server determines the audio data includes a spoken command to receive content, and therefrom determines a source storing the content. The server also determines threshold user authentication confidence score data associated with the content source. Based at least in part on the threshold user authentication confidence score data, the server determines a user authentication technique, and a device configured to capture user authentication data. The server determines user authentication confidence score data using user authentication data received from the device, and determines weighted user authentication confidence score data therefrom.

  • Patent number: 7574742
Abstract: A system and method comprising providing a plurality of signature strings, inputting a plurality of strings, separating the signature strings into a plurality of signature groups, respectively detecting common features for the signature strings for each of the signature groups and the input strings, comparing the detected common features for each of the signature groups with those of the input strings, and matching the input strings and the signature groups if the detected common features for the signature groups match those of the input strings. In one aspect, the string matching further comprises matching the input strings with the signature strings for those of the signature groups having common features that match the common features of the input strings. In another aspect, the common features comprise distances or gaps between characters in the input strings and the signature strings.

  • Patent number: 7359895
Abstract: A string matching method is provided for searching a text received in a string matching system for any of a predetermined set of patterns, each of the text and the patterns including a string of characters or symbols. The method includes generating a number of pattern folds for each of the patterns and generating a number of text folds for the text, both the number of pattern folds for each of the patterns and the number of text folds being equal to a folding width, generating a set of pattern folds from the pattern folds of all the patterns, selecting one of the text folds, performing a first search on the selected text fold for matches of any pattern folds, and if a pattern fold is found, performing a second search to determine if the text contains a match of any of the predetermined set of pattern.

  • Patent number: 7203963
Abstract: A method of adaptively classifying information using a binary tree comprises establishing a binary tree including a set of binary sequences each representing one or more network addresses. Once network traffic is received having identifiers describing network traffic sources, the identifiers are correlated to binary sequences within the binary tree. A revision metric is formed based on this correlating, and the binary tree is then revised according to this revision metric. A method of blocking a DDOS attack comprises establishing a binary tree including a set of binary sequences, each of these binary sequences representing one or more network addresses. When network traffic is received having identifiers describing network traffic sources, the identifiers are correlated to binary sequences within the binary tree. Once a DDOS attack notification signal is received, a selected binary tree path within the binary tree is identified as a low cost blocking path within the binary tree.

  • Publication number: 20050188108
Abstract: Methods, systems, and data structures are provided for enriching a tree of a content distribution network. A tree of the content distribution network is depicted having an ingress node, egress nodes, links between nodes, and one or more planned paths for moving data through the content distribution network from the ingress nodes to the egress nodes. The tree is augmented or enriched to include one or more alternative paths to the planned paths. The number of alternative paths is configurable based on policies of the content distribution network. Moreover, the alternative paths are generated based on potential failures in one or more of the links and/or failures in one or more of the nodes. Further, the alternative paths are available with the tree before the data is moved through the content distribution network.
