Abstract: The present invention provides for a system, apparatus and method for utilizing the manufacturing cost efficiencies of a regional/national manufacturer with the delivery time efficiencies of a local manufacturer. Such a system may be implemented by providing a received order to a local third party manufacturer. Because of the relative costs of the manufactured goods between the regional/national and the local third party manufacturer, and the price willing to be paid by the customer, the regional manufacturer does not compensate the local third party manufacturer with currency in the transaction. Instead, the local third party manufacturer is compensated in equivalent or greater products (or optionally credits) at a later date.

Abstract: A system and method for creating individualized color and product palettes for fabrication and sales of window coverings. The system includes a unique product palette processor interacting with a product palette database to specify requested goods in terms of a manufacturer product design palette when an order is created using a unique product palette created for and used by a single retailer or designer.
