  • Publication number: 20240126018
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an optical device including a tray with a step structure, first filters, second filters, and an optical signal router. The step structure has a first portion and a second portion laterally connected to the first portion. The first portion has a first bottom surface and a first top surface. The second portion has a second bottom surface and a second top surface. The first bottom surface and the second bottom surface are substantially coplanar, and the first portion is thinner than the second portion. The first filters are mounted on the first top surface. The second filters are mounted on the second top surface. The optical signal router optically couples to the first filters and the second filters, and is configured to receive a light beam, transmissible to the tray, from one of the first filters or the second filters.

  • Patent number: 11422302
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an optical assembly and a method of using an optical assembly. The optical assembly includes a carrier, a filter module on a primary surface of the carrier and disposed on a predetermined optical path, wherein the filter module includes a plurality of filter elements corresponding to a plurality of beams of different channels, a focal length adjuster disposed on the predetermined optical path, wherein at least a focal length of one of the plurality of beams is altered by the focal length adjuster, and a receiver extension configured to receive the plurality of beams via a plurality of sensing areas respectively at a receiving surface, wherein a beam size of each beams at the receiving surface is less than an area of each of the corresponding sensing areas.

  • Patent number: 6980713
Abstract: A wavelength selector for transmitting radiation of multiple wavelengths. The wavelength selector includes a four-fiber collimator and provides a first input, first output, second input, and second output channel. The first input channel carries radiation of multiple wavelengths. The second input channel carries the radiation of a first wavelength to be added to the first input channel. The second output channel receives the radiation of a predetermined wavelength that is to be dropped. A switch member with a plurality of filters is movable among a plurality of positions. When the switch member is in a first position, the radiation carried by the first input channel reaches the first filter, and the radiation of the first wavelength carried by the second input channel reaches the second filter. The second output channel receives the radiation of a predetermined wavelength carried by the first input channel.
