At least one training image is selected, in which the image includes at least one representative feature. A line-finding tool searches the at least one training image for the at least one representative feature using at least one caliper, and a projection signal is generated from projection data associated with the at least one caliper. A filter signal is generated from the projection signal. An index value is generated by finding an edge of the at least one caliper nearest to an expected feature.

Abstract: A wafer defect inspection system is disclosed, and comprises a line light source, a camera and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to control the line light source to provide an inspection light to be incident on a wafer, wherein an included angle between the inspection light and the surface of the wafer ranges from 450 to 90°. After incidence on the wafer, the inspection light travels inside the wafer according to the principle of total reflection, and when encountering a crack, part of the inspection light exits from the surface of the wafer through the crack. Moreover, the processor controls the camera to obtain a wafer image containing at least one defect feature, and after processing the wafer image into an inspection wafer image, compares the wafer image with a reference wafer image, so as to know the at least one defect feature.

The system includes an atmospheric boundary layer wind tunnel, a plenum chamber and a refrigeration system. The atmospheric boundary layer wind tunnel includes an upper flow channel and a lower flow channel communicating with each other end to end. A power section is arranged in the upper flow channel. A settling chamber, a contraction section and a test section are sequentially arranged in the lower flow channel. Corners of a closed return wind tunnel are respectively provided with a transition section. A fan is disposed in the power section. An air heat exchanger is disposed in the settling chamber. The plenum chamber is divided by a partition into a storage room for storing snow particles and an operation room provided with a snow particle vibratory spreading device. The storage room is located at an upper part of the settling chamber.
