Abstract: A dynamic digital board application that can detect words based on stroke recognition. In an exemplary embodiment of the digital board application using stroke-based word selection, the application comprises: a display; memory; one or more processors; one or more modules stored in the memory and configured for execution by the one or more processors, wherein the one or more modules includes instructions to detect a first contact on the display and create an object variable, to create a pointer identification, to save the object and push it into a cached objects array, to calculate a distance threshold between the pointer and a last object in cached objects array, wherein the digital board includes a graphical, interactive user-interface object with which a user interacts.
