    Abstract: An antenna with an adjustable grounding element and a related portable device is disclosed. The grounding element of the antenna according to the present invention includes a first section, a second section and a third section, wherein the first section is separately connected to the second section and the third section, such that a shape of the grounding element is substantially hollowed, such as an upside-down U shape. Alternatively, the grounding element further comprises a fourth section having an opening. By adjusting the grounding element or positions or sizes of the opening of the fourth section can obtain different radiation patterns.
