    Abstract: An improved motion generating mechanism for use in a music box to drive decoration articles associated therewith is disclosed. A crank arm eccentrically attached to the outer side of the driving wheel associated with the playing roller of a music box is circularly moved in synchronism with the driving wheel. At each end of the crank arm is disposed an engagement protrusion respectively. A securing seat is fixed to the mounting plate of the music box and to the base plate of the outer case with a supporting base pivotally associated therewith respectively; each supporting base is provided with a swing arm having an elongated guide groove disposed thereon; in each groove is slidably located the engagement protrusion so that the supporting bases are able to be pivotally moved in synchronism with the crank arm. To each supporting base is secured a mounting pole onto which a decoration article is mounted. Each mounting pole is led through an elongated slot disposed on the top of an upper lid.

    Abstract: An improved doll driving mechanism for use in a music box is equipped with an eccentric shaft having a linkage arm engaged with the output shaft of a music playing unit of the music box. The eccentric shaft provided with at least a journalled section is in driving engagement with an open-ended slot of a main linkage plate having an extended driving rod at one end. Three secondary linkage plates are engaged with each other or with the main linkage plate respectively and the linkage plates are associated with pivotal arms, legs and head and an openable chin of a doll mounted onto the music box by rigid wires so that those moving parts of the doll or an article of the like can be pivotally actuated in synchronism with played music.

    Abstract: Improved music box motion generation mechanism is equipped with a wave-shaped cam ring housed at the bottom of the upper housing cavity of a mount case and a rotation disc disposed on top of the cam ring and having a number of symmetric through holes disposed along the periphery thereof and a central through hole located at the center thereof. With each symmetric through hole is associated a fixing member by way of a nut. An actuation rod having a follower disposed at the bottom end thereof is moveably engaged with the fixing member, the rod can move up and down and spin 360 degrees around and travel along with the fixed wave-shaped cam ring. A main shaft is disposed through the central through hole of the rotation disc with its bottom end connected to the music producing and driving shaft of a driving case.
