  • Publication number: 20190190792
Abstract: A method for protecting CDN client source station is provided. The method includes: collecting an indicator parameter from a client source station, and collecting a dimension parameter from a CDN edge node; obtaining source station load data, back-to-source status data, and client behavioral data by processing the indicator parameter and the dimension parameter; analyzing the source station load data, the back-to-source status data, and the client behavioral data to obtain prediction data; determining a source station service status based on the prediction data; when the source station service status is abnormal, determining different abnormal conditions and generating a corresponding control strategy in conjunction with the collected indicator parameter and dimension parameter; and executing the control strategy. Through relatively precise prediction, the source station may be protected in real-time and more accurately.

  • Patent number: 8543364
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for optimizing hydrocarbon recovery from subsurface formations, including subsurface formations having bottom water or edgewater. A system and method can be configured to receive data indicative of by-pass oil areas in the subsurface formation from reservoir simulation, identify flow barriers in the subsurface formation based on the by-pass oil areas identified by the reservoir simulation, and predict the lateral extension of the identified flow barriers in the subsurface formation. Infill horizontal wells can be placed at areas of the subsurface formation relative to the flow barriers such that production from a horizontal well in the subsurface formation optimizes hydrocarbon recovery.

  • Publication number: 20090307777
Abstract: A method for predicting a network attack action, including: monitoring a network status parameter and obtaining information of an attack action according to a change of the network status parameter; selecting a subsequent attack action which has a most possibility to happen from a plurality of subsequent attack actions of the attack action according to a correspondence between the attack action and the plurality of subsequent attack actions, the subsequent attack action which has the most possibility to happen being a subsequent attack action with a largest occurrence number among the subsequent attack actions corresponding to the attack action; and outputting the subsequent attack action which has the most possibility to happen as a predicted network attack action. A device for predicting a network attack action including an attack action management unit is also provided.
