  • Publication number: 20210297309
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method performed in a server for communication in Internet of Things, including: receiving, from an application, an object definition schema including an attribute that indicates storing a latest operation message for an operation-related resource item in a client; checking if a queue exists for the operation-related resource item, upon receiving a request for an operation on the operation-related resource item from the application; and if the queue exists, storing the latest operation message in the queue in place of a previous operation message when the client is offline. The present disclosure also provides an apparatus performed in a server for communication in Internet of Things.

  • Publication number: 20210212137
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method in a network node for facilitating Non-Internet Protocol Data Delivery, NIDD. The method includes: receiving from a server a request for NIDD downlink data transfer to a terminal device; triggering, when no Packet Data Network, PDN, connection is available between the terminal device and the network node, establishment by the terminal device of a PDN connection with the network node; and notifying the server when the PDN connection has been established.

  • Publication number: 20210058755
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for capability exposure are disclosed for a wireless communication system. According to an embodiment, a network exposure node receives from a server a request for subscribing to a monitoring report that can be enabled by an operator node based at least on a capability of at least one non-3GPP operator asset. The network exposure node obtains the monitoring report from the operator node and sends the monitoring report to the server. The monitoring report may be related to battery lifetime predicted for a user equipment.

  • Patent number: 8881241
Abstract: A method and a system for implementing privacy control in a communication network are provided. The method comprises the steps of generating a first Request Verification Code (RVC) for each user request in a privacy server by means of parameter hashing or non-Parameter-hashing and forwarding the user request together with the first RVC to the SP; and verifying a second RVC and user privacy setting (s) in a privacy server, wherein the second RVC is received together with a further request from the SP. The system comprises an untrustworthy subsystem comprising at least one Service Provider (SP) for providing application service and a trustworthy subsystem comprising at least one mobile operator module for providing communication service, wherein the mobile operator module further comprises at least one mobile core network for providing user privacy control by means of Request Verification Code (RVC).

  • Publication number: 20100115588
Abstract: The present invent ion relates to a mobile advertisement system (100), a method and an application server (40) used to prevent user equipments (10) hosting a forged client 5 application or client software to get access and to hold an external data network connection. According to the present invention, an application server (40) is adapted to receive from the core network (20) of the advertisement system (100) a message comprising an end user identification number (e.g. MSISDN). The application server is further configured to trigger an advertisement confirmation timer which expects to receive an advertisement display confirmation message from the client of the user equipment (10). Upon the timer expiring, the application server (40) request the core network (20) to disconnect the user equipment thereby preventing the user equipment hosting a forged client application to get access and to hold a external data network connection.
