The method includes: receiving, by a mobility management entity (MME), an access request message from a user equipment; determining, by the MME, whether the access request message from the user equipment is an attach message or a tracking area update request message; and if the MME has been registered as a short message serving node of the user equipment in a home subscriber server (HSS) and it is determined that the access request message is the attach message or the tracking area update request message, sending, by the MME, a notification to the HSS to inform the HSS to cancel registration of the MME as the short message serving node of the user equipment.

Abstract: A dedicated network handover method, a dedicated network type notification method, and a device, so as to ensure that user equipment (UE) is handed over to a dedicated core network (CN) network element of a corresponding CN type in a handover process, are presented. The CN network element device mainly includes a receiver configured to receive CN type information of UE sent by a first dedicated CN network element; a processor configured to determine, according to the CN type information, identifier information of a second dedicated CN network element that supports a CN type indicated by the CN type information; and the processor configured to hand over, according to the identifier information, the UE to the second dedicated CN network element corresponding to the identifier information.

Abstract: A service implementation method, apparatus, and system are disclosed. The service implementation method includes: receiving, by a serving gateway, a data packet of a terminal device sent by a packet data network gateway; if the data packet is a data packet with a serving priority and the serving gateway has sent a paging trigger message with a serving priority to a mobility management element, skipping, by the serving gateway, sending a paging trigger message to the mobility management element; or if the data packet is a data packet with a serving priority and the serving gateway has sent no paging trigger message with a serving priority to a mobility management element, sending, by the serving gateway, a paging trigger message to the mobility management element; wherein the paging trigger message is used to enable the mobility management element to page the terminal device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, a device, and a system for processing a request for closed subscriber group subscription data. A closed subscriber group subscriber server receives a request sent by a mobility management network element. The request includes an identifier of the mobility management network element and an identifier of a user equipment is used for requesting closed subscriber group subscription data of the user equipment. If the closed subscriber group subscription data of the user equipment does not exist, the closed subscriber group subscriber server stores the identifier of the mobility management network element and the identifier of the user equipment.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, a network element, and a system for determining a target RAT. The method includes: receiving, by an access network element, access control information of a UE that is sent by a mobility management network element, where the access control information includes an identity of a PLMN and a radio access technology RAT allowed and/or a RAT not allowed by the PLMN; and determining, by the access network element, a target RAT for the UE according to the access control information. The present invention can be applied to a shared network environment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for transmitting downlink data, a mobility management network element, an access network device, and a serving gateway. The method includes: receiving a downlink data notification message sent by a serving gateway, where the downlink data notification message includes a category attribute of to-be-transmitted downlink data; acquiring the category attribute, of the to-be-transmitted downlink data, included in the downlink data notification message; and determining, according to the category attribute of the to-be-transmitted downlink data, whether to send a paging message to an access network device. For the method for transmitting downlink data, in a process of transmitting downlink data, establishment of a bearer on an access network side can be controlled, so as to prevent blind establishment of a bearer on the access network side. As such, signaling overheads can be reduced and congestion in data transmission can be mitigated.

The mobile core network includes distributed mobile cores associated with mobile data service (MDS) agents at distributed data centers. A central MDS agent is host at a central data center providing legacy mobility management entity (MME) functions. The central MDS agent and the MDS agents at the distributed data centers coordinate with each other for synchronizing context information, such as subscriber data, session context data and metrics data of UEs, so that the context information is available at the central data center and the distributed data centers when or before it is requested.

Therefore, it is achieved that communications reliability is enhanced when a mobile communications network supports a trunking communications function and when some terminals are out of a mobile communication connection or outside network coverage.

The method includes: determining, by a gateway device, first overload indication information, where the first overload indication information is used to indicate an overload control policy; and sending, by the gateway device, the first overload indication information to a mobility management entity, so that the mobility management entity executes the overload control policy according to the first overload indication information. According to the overload control method, the gateway device, the mobility management entity, and the PGW in embodiments of the present invention, adverse impact brought by device overload can be avoided; therefore, the device overload can be effectively controlled.

In the embodiments of the present invention the service parameter or the service request related to the current service matches the changed access network resource, thereby improving the QoS.

Abstract: A method for reporting radio bearer loss information is provided in an embodiment of this invention. The method comprises: receiving a User Equipment UE Context Release Request message or a Release Access Bearer Request message or an Iu interface release request message all carrying a release cause value; and if the release cause value indicates an abnormal release, reporting radio bearer loss information to a gateway while preserving non-GBR bearers. With the method and apparatus of embodiments of this invention, not only bearer reporting can be realized, but also problems caused by the release of Non-Guaranteed Bandwidth non-GBR bearers can be prevented.
