  • Publication number: 20260230104
Abstract: A transmitter according to one aspect of the present invention generates a pulse code train by encoding transmission information according to assignment of each of one or more pulse code trains to a respective codeword, and transmits the generated pulse code train. Each of the one or more pulse code trains includes four or more pulses. Each of the one or more pulse code trains is designed so that any pair of the one or more pulse code trains has a maximum of two common pulses under all possible shifts of a discrete number of time slots. This makes it possible to provide a communication technique that can be expected to improve the data rate in data communication by a large number of devices.

  • Patent number: 11405072
Abstract: A communication method includes generating at a first node, a message of a predetermined message temporal length that indicates an input value to be encoded and transmitting, at the first node, a signal including a pulse train corresponding to the generated message. The signal including the pulse train includes two pulses that define start and end of the message, respectively, and further two pulses that define within the message, a first time interval calculated from the input value in accordance with a first function and a second time interval calculated from the input value in accordance with a second function, respectively.
