  • Patent number: 11016374
Abstract: The disclosed subject matter relates to an apparatus for projecting a light spot, comprising a light source emitting a light beam having a wavelength and a divergence angle, a mirror arranged in the path of the light beam to deflect said light beam about a nominal deflection angle, the mirror having a surface with a known curvature, and a collimation lens arranged between the light source and the mirror in the path of the light beam, wherein the lens is mounted at a distance z1?f1 from the light source, f1 being the focal length of the lens, and wherein the distance z1 is chosen such that the width of the deflected light beam has a minimum at a pre-determined projection distance.

  • Patent number: 9686519
Abstract: An apparatus for projecting a picture element based on at least a first and a second sample comprises a mirror configured to pivot about two axes, at least a first and a second light generation unit, and a processor being configured to output the first sample received at a first point in time at a second point in time to the first light generation unit and the second sample received at a first point in time at a third point in time to the second light generation unit. At least one of the second and third points in time is determined such that the distance between the actual first and second positions is reduced.

  • Patent number: 9664357
Abstract: A device for generating multiple collimated light beams includes a carrier and at least two light generation units mounted on the carrier. The light generation units are configured to emit, each from an aperture, light beams at respectively different wavelengths and being arranged, with respect to axes of the light beams, substantially parallel and substantially in a common plane. A first lens is mounted on the carrier intersectingly to the axes of the light beams and has a principal plane. The light generation units have their apertures aligned along an alignment line substantially perpendicular to the axes of the light beams and the principal plane of the first lens is non-perpendicular to the axes of the light beams and is non-parallel to the alignment line.
