Abstract: The invention is a container for analyzing liquid, in particular a cuvette for analyzing urine, said container comprising an upper part (10) having a transparent upper window part, a lower part (20) adjoining the upper part (10), said lower part (20) having a transparent lower window part, an analyzing space located between the upper window part and the lower window part, an inlet aperture (12) for charging the liquid into the analyzing space, and an outlet aperture (13) for allowing air escape from the container during charging. The container is characterized by comprising a buffer passage (28) between the analyzing space (29) and the outlet aperture (13).

Abstract: A locking device for a movement unit supported displaceably relative to and along a longitudinal axis of at least one guide rod, comprises a pair of clamping members which have each a clamping opening. Each clamping opening has an inner surface for receiving the guide rod. Each clamping member has a foot end and a head end and is pivotable about an axis to assume a first position, in which the inner surface is in frictional braking contact with the guide rod, and a second position for allowing free relative movement of the clamping members and the guide rod. The pair of clamping members has also a corresponding pair of control surfaces facing each other at their head ends. There is an actuation device that acts onto the pair of clamping members to move them from one of their positions to the other. This actuation device includes: a device for imparting movement which has a pressure exerting surface for exerting pressure in a direction towards the clamping members.

Abstract: A locking device for a linear movement unit (1) ensures quick and precise locking by providing a guidance when two clamping members (9) pivot into a clamping position substantially free from any play. The guidance is provided by at least first and second guide surfaces (12, 13 or 14, 15) so that the clamping members engage a guide rod (4) simultaneously to lock the unit on it, thus avoiding any spluttering.

Abstract: A mechanized longwall system for mines is provided which includes face roof supporting units disposed along the longwall and connected to a face support track by hydraulic advancing cylinders, each unit including a floor and roof element, a drift transport track mounted perpendicularly to one end of the face transport track, including two drift supporting units coupled with hydraulic linkages to the face supporting units, a guide system arranged on one of the floor elements of the drift supporting units and guiding a transfer unit in the longitudinal direction of the drift transport track, the arrangement being such that shifting of a drift supporting unit is accompanied by a simultaneous shifting of the face conveyor apparatus.
