    Abstract: A pressure relief valve is provided for a common rail fuel system. The pressure relief valve has a housing with an inlet, an outlet, and a central bore fluidly connecting the inlet and the outlet. The pressure relief valve also has a single valve seat and a first valve element movable to selectively block a flow of fluid through the single valve seat. The pressure relief valve further has a second valve element disposed within the central bore of the housing and movable to selectively block a flow of fluid through the central bore.
