Abstract: A hover dodgem (1) comprising a hovercraft having seating (5) for at least one adult human and a battery-powered lift' and thrust fan, sufficient to lift the dodgem when carrying an adult human. Preferred dodgems have rotatable thrust air exit paths, are circular, or have thrust air exit paths angled towards the ground. Wireless control means allow remote control of the dodgems.

Abstract: A clip (1) formed of a resiliently deformable material in the form of a split ring. Each end of the split ring is provided with a tab (9) and hole (10) having a ratchet mechanism (11, 12) to provide non-releasable closure. Further embodiments have a hole arrangement to allow release of the closure by twisting the ring.

Abstract: An anchoring device comprising a shaft, at least part of whose length comprises a tapered portion, with at least one helical flange which runs substantially along the length of said tapered section and an engagement means to allow the device to engage with a lever wherein in use rotation of the lever about the axis of the shaft results in rotation of the device such that the tapered portion and the helical flange co-operate to drive the device into the ground.

Abstract: In an articulated sequence or array of ground-reinforcement panels, each panel has parallel rectilinear edges, one of them provided with a number of male interlock members projecting therefrom in the plane of the panel and the other provided with a corresponding number of female interlock members recessed therein, so constructed and arranged that the male members can be forcibly but detachably interengaged with the female members in a next-adjacent panel in a direction vertical to the plane of the panels but cannot be disengaged therefrom in the plane of the panels, while, when interengaged, the respective male and female members and the adjacent panels associated therewith are capable of limited rotation with respect to each other.
