  • Patent number: 5029422
Abstract: This invention relates to a false ceiling, constituted by a taut sheet fastened, along its edges, to a support fixed to the walls of a room, said false ceiling being characterized in that the rail presents a downwardly open recess, defined by two vertical flanges of different heights, namely a first flange of small height and a second flange of greater height and extending downwardly further than the first flange, and in that the first flange, of small height, of the rail terminates, at its lower end, in a shoulder extending horizontally in the direction of the second flange of greater height and stopping at a distance therefrom in order to define, between the second flange and the shoulder, a passage allowing the introduction of the harpoon, forming the edge of the taut sheet, upwardly in the recess.

  • Patent number: 5010234
Abstract: This invention relates to a device for air-conditioning premises, with exchange of heat energy by low temperature infrared radiation, comprising a flat element for exchanging heat energy by low temperature infrared radiation, extending parallel to a wall of the room, at a distance therefrom, wherein it comprises, between the heat exchanger element and the wall, an element reflecting the low temperature infrared radiation and, towards the interior of this room, a sheet stretched across the room, made of a material behaving in diathermic manner with respect to the low temperature infrared radiation, the heat exchanger element, the element reflecting the radiation and the sheet being hooked, along their edges, to walls of the room.

  • Patent number: 4880448
Abstract: A double filter insert for an air cleaning apparatus having an ionizer, consisting of a sheet-like pre-filter of polyester for retaining coarse dust particles and of an also sheet-like electrostatic filter of nonwoven fabric for removing also finest-grain floating particles from the air circulating through the air cleaning apparatus. According to the invention, the double filter insert (1) is characterized by at least one inspection opening (1.3) which, for making visible the degree of contamination of the electrostatic filter (1.2) is provided in the fabric of the overlying pre-filter (1.1), the electrostatic filter (1.2) in the new condition being of a distinctly brighter color than the pre-filter (1.1).

  • Patent number: 4835914
Abstract: A false ceiling comprises a stretched sheet made of a relatively elastic material which is hooked, along its edges, to a horizontal support frame constituted by abutting sections, fixed to the walls of a room. Above the sheet, i.e. in the space between this sheet and the ceiling of the room, means exert on the sheet at at least one point thereof, an adjustable effort provoking a deformation of the sheet. These means comprise a cable passing over a pulley fixed to the ceiling of the room, of which the vertical side acts, at its lower end, on the sheet, in order to exert thereon the adjustable vertical effort, and of which the other inclined or manoeuvring side is hooked on the wall, above the support frame, on this support frame itself or on the ceiling.

  • Patent number: 4712168
Abstract: A spotlight bracket for a false ceiling or false wall constituted by a stretched sheet hooked, along its edges, to a support fixed to the wall or to the ceiling, comprises two parts adjustable with respect to each other, namely an upper part fixed to the ceiling and a lower part adjustable in height and in inclination with respect to the fixed upper part. The upper part, in the form of a downwardly open fork-joint, comprises an upper horizontal web fixed to the ceiling or wall. This web is pierced with a hole for the passage of an electric cable and it is fast, at its two ends, with two vertical, downwardly extending arms. The adjustable lower part, which is also in the form of a fork-joint open upwardly, comprises a lower horizontal base plate fast with two opposite vertical arms extending upwardly and which tighten on the arms of the fixed upper fork-joint.

  • Patent number: 4711060
Abstract: A false ceiling or false wall is constituted by a stretched sheet fastened, along its edges, to a support fixed to the wall or to the ceiling. The sheet bears, at the passage of an element projecting with respect to the wall, such as a pipe, a reinforcing plate glued on its face turned towards the celing or wall, this reinforcing plate presenting a cut-out allowing passage of the projecting element through it and through the sheet.

  • Patent number: 4408433
Abstract: A section constituting an outer longitudinal element or moulding of a false ceiling or false wall, is constituted substantially by an angle of which the vertical flange is applied against a wall and the horizontal flange presents a shoulder extending towards the vertical flange to ensure fastening of a hook-shaped edging fast with a sheet of plastics material or cloth maintained stretched by the section. The horizontal shoulder defines, with the horizontal flange, a groove whose cross section is in the form of a U open towards the vertical flange. A cant provided in the angle constituting the section joins the horizontal flange inside the U-groove so as to define, between this cant and the shoulder, a narrow passage of width slightly larger than the thickness of the part of the edging which is engaged in the U-groove.

  • Patent number: 4092076
Abstract: An assembly system for mounting lateral beams on a central beam to form a framework in which the central beam is provided with laterally extending, preferably cylindrical pegs, which are formed with inclined bearing surfaces, e.g. conical surfaces, adjacent their free ends. The lateral beams have bores formed therein into which the pegs fit, and transversely extending screws having conical ends are screwed against the inclined bearing surfaces to press the lateral beams against the central beam.
