  • Publication number: 20240054402
Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media for saliency visualization are provided. The disclosed technology can include receiving a data input including a plurality of features. The data input can be segmented into regions. At least one of the regions can include two or more of the features. Attribution scores can be respectively generated for features of the data input. The attribution scores for each feature can be indicative of a respective saliency of such feature. A respective gain value for each region can be determined over one or more iterations based on the respective attribution scores associated with the features included in the region. Further, at each iteration one or more of the regions with the greatest gain values can be added to a saliency mask. Furthermore, at each iteration a saliency visualization can be produced based on the saliency mask.

  • Patent number: 9075502
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique for generating a visual display illustrating the flow of user content in a social network is described. The technique can include determining a user content associated with a plurality of users. The technique can further include generating a visual display that includes a region for each user of the plurality of users. The technique can also include generating arranging the regions in the visual display according to a set of layout rules, and aligning a directional indicator in the visual display. The technique can include providing the visual display to a user via a display.

  • Patent number: 9058316
Abstract: A method and computer program product for generating a data visualization based, at least in part, upon a data set. A first user is allowed to add an annotation to at least a portion of the data visualization. A determination is made concerning whether the annotation is associatable with any portion of the data set.
