    Abstract: An adjustable pedal that includes a first body with a shoe, a second body pivotable about a shaft, the first body being movably coupled with respect to the second body, a third body being pivotable with respect to the second body and movably coupled with respect to the first body, the third body being coupled to an actuator through a coupling, and a control device suitable for adjusting the position of the pedal. The first body and the second body are telescopically coupled to one another, the control device controlling the distance between the rotating shaft and the coupling by moving the three bodies relatively to one another, keeping the ratio of the distance between the shaft and the shoe and the distance between the shaft and the coupling substantially constant.

    Abstract: A pedal apparatus for a motor vehicle that includes a support piece adapted to be fixed to a part of the motor vehicle. According to one implementation the pedal apparatus includes a shaft having a plastic body having a first end portion, a second end portion and a central portion disposed between the first and second end portions, each of the first and second end portions being supported on the support piece. The shaft also includes a metal body disposed on an exterior surface of the central portion of the plastic body. A pedal with a hollow bushing at one end is arranged on the shaft with an interior surface of the hollow bushing being supported on an external surface of the metal tube, the dimensional characteristics of the hollow bushing and metal tube permitting the hollow bushing to rotate about the shaft.

    Abstract: According to an implementation a method for manufacturing a pedal for a motor vehicle is provided. The method comprising inserting into a hollow profile a flexible yet substantially incompressible retainer member and subsequently applying one or more forces to an external surface of the hollow profile to induce a change in shape of the hollow profile from a first shape to a second shape. The substantial incompressibility of the retainer member inhibiting deformations in the internal wall surface of the hollow profile as the one or more forces are applied to the external wall surface of the hollow profile so that the internal wall surface is substantially free of deformations upon the hollow profile assuming the second shape, the flexibility of the retainer member allowing it to bend in the direction of the applied one or more forces to accommodate a change in shape of the hollow profile from the first shape to the second shape.

The pedal covering includes a plurality of protuberances, a plate including a base that is disposed on the elastic covering cap and which includes a plurality of holes in which the protuberances are inserted. The plate has at least one main projection including a first segment that extends continuously from the base and a second segment continuous to the first segment, the maximum width of the second segment being greater than the maximum width of the first segment. In addition, the elastic covering cap includes, for each main projection, a housing with a groove, the width of the groove being smaller than the maximum width of the second segment, and the groove being passed through by the main projection, with the result that the second segment comes up against the elastic covering cap once it has passed through the groove.

In the rest position, the first regulating element is moved with respect to the second regulating element by means of rotation of the second regulating element when the first stop surface contacts a first stop surface of the support.
