The assembly includes brackets for clamping around conduits, support bars, support plates, arms, frame, and the like for coupling different components of the mobile radio antenna system. The brackets, threaded rods, threaded bolts, hex nuts, and the like of the assembly are made from plastic to avoid generating interferences.

Abstract: A robotic system adapted to deploy from a police vehicle for inspecting a suspect vehicle has a robot unit and a carrier unit. The robot unit includes a robot base having a drive system responsive to a control unit having a robot transceiver, and a camera operably mounted on robot unit for inspecting the suspect vehicle. A primary display adapted to be operably positioned within the police vehicle functions for displaying the images from the camera. A remote control unit, also adapted to be operably positioned within the police vehicle, enables the user to operably control the control unit of the robot unit. The carrier unit includes a carrier housing that pivots between a raised position for carrying the robot unit, and a lowered position for deploying the robot unit.

Abstract: Nanomaterials of the JT phase of the titanium oxide TiO2-x, where 0?x?1 having as a building block a crystalline structure with an orthorhombic symmetry and described by at least one of the space groups 59 Pmmn, 63 Amma, 71 Immm or 63 Bmmb. These nanomaterials are in the form of nanofibers, nanowires, nanorods, nanoscrolls and/or nanotubes. The nanomaterials are obtained from a hydrogen titanate and/or a mixed sodium and hydrogen titanate precursor compound that is isostructural to the JT crystalline structure. The titanates are the hydrogenated, the protonated, the hydrated and/or the alkalinized phases of the JT crystalline phase that are obtained from titanium compounds such as titanium oxide with an anatase crystalline structure, amorphous titanium oxide, and titanium oxide with a rutile crystalline structure, and/or directly from the rutile mineral and/or from ilmenite.

Abstract: A vehicle disabling device for disabling a fleeing vehicle has a carriage that is projected from a launch platform using a plurality of elongate extension tubes. The plurality of elongate extension tubes are pneumatically actuated with a tank of compressed air operably connected to the plurality of elongate extension tubes with a pneumatic hose. The carriage includes a pair of carriage wheels and is adapted for rectilinear movement in front of a pursuit vehicle. The carriage also includes a first arm and a second arm connected pivotally to the carriage. A plurality of spikes are disposed along the first and second arms, adapted to puncture the tires of the fleeing vehicle once the fleeing vehicle has run over one of the first and second arms.
