  • Publication number: 20200309805
Abstract: Method and associated device for estimating a series of angular speeds ?n at successive instants tn, including a first step (E1) of measuring an angular speed in a domain of values below a saturation threshold 107 1s; a second step (E2; E3) of measuring a linear acceleration ?; a second step (E2; E3) of measuring a linear acceleration ?; a step (E4) of detecting a saturation state during the first measurement step (E1); a calculation step (E5) for estimating, in case of detection of a measurement saturation during the first measurement step, the angular speed at each instant tn as a function of at least the acceleration value ? measured at the instant tn and of the angular speed value obtained at an earlier instant t1?1, at least one first measurement of the angular speed below the saturation threshold having been obtained.

  • Publication number: 20190362140
Abstract: In the field of multi-sport data sensors for evaluating the performance of a sports practitioner in various sporting disciplines, in particular in board sports, there is disclosed a method, a sensor and a statistical analysis system for analyzing the path of a surf practitioner performing a jump, and more particularly for calculating the height of the jump. The method can advantageously be applied to kitesurfing, but is not limited thereto. It is based on filtering and integrating the data from an accelerometer. In certain embodiments, it advantageously includes a quadratic correction step for correcting errors introduced by uncertainties relating to the accelerometer measurements.

  • Publication number: 20130222258
Abstract: A mobile terminal (1.0) comprises, in a casing, a plurality of elements including, at least, one screen (1.2), one keypad (1.11), one battery, one printed circuit on which is placed at least one central processor of the mobile terminal. The printed circuit is connected to the battery. The casing comprises a first part (1.1) comprising the screen and a second part (1.4) comprising the keypad, the second part of the casing being assembled in a mobile manner between a retracted position and a deployed position in a cavity (1.7) formed in the first part of the casing. The first part of the casing comprises a first element (1.8) from among the battery and the printed circuit, and the second part of the casing comprises the second element (1.9) from among the battery and the printed circuit. The first element from among the battery and the printed circuit and the cavity are positioned on both sides of a plane perpendicular to the screen.

  • Patent number: 6788957
Abstract: To enable a use of a two-band type mobile telephone with a dual radiation circuit, a selector switch is placed between this dual radiation circuit and transmission channels in each of these bands. Given the emergence of the second harmonic resulting from the presence of the selector switch, the undesirable components are filtered with a filter. A part of the reactive components of this filter is between the radiating circuit and the selector switch, while the other part is in the channel to be filtered. Depending on the nature of the channel, the other part in the channel to be filtered has different values.

  • Patent number: 6650189
Abstract: An RC type oscillator (10) is integrated into a processor circuit (2) of a mobile device (1). This oscillator is used to set the pace of the activity of the processor circuit during periods when the mobile device is on standby. The frequency drift due to the temperature variations of the oscillator is concerted by a regular calibration of the oscillator by a faster oscillator recognized to be stable. This embodiment gives gain in space and a reduction in cost.

  • Patent number: 6512350
Abstract: In the device for controlling the recharging of a battery (2) from a current generator (1), one applies the process according to which: the value of the charging current is varied cyclically from an initial value, the temperature of the battery (2) is monitored so as to search for and measure therein a corresponding variation of the temperature, and the value of the current is reduced if the temperature variation exceeds a target threshold (14). The invention applies to portable terminals.

  • Patent number: 6310461
Abstract: The leakage current in a circuit for charging a battery is eliminated by placing a switch in series with the resistor connecting the emitter and the base of a transistor. When this switch is open the current can no longer flow through and there is therefore no longer any leakage current. This switch is controlled by a microprocessor through a bus and the battery can be charged in pulsed mode. Furthermore, the circuit has no protection diode against reverse voltage and over voltage.

  • Publication number: 20010031580
Abstract: To enable the insertion of an integrated circuit (8) between the contact terminals of a smart card (4) connecter (3) in a mobile telephone (1) and to simplify the manufacture of such a connector, an unoccupied location (7) is produced by making the connector out of two elements (5, 6), each supporting a group of flat contact terminals (3 1-3 3, 3 4-3 6) with contact surfaces (4 1-4 3, 4 4, 4 6) of the smart card.
