Abstract: A scheduling method for use in a radio access network to allocate frequency resources to a user device for the transmission of data units organized in a set of data units is disclosed. The sets of data units are assigned an initial transmission delay budget which decreases over time. The scheduling method includes, at a given transmission time, prioritizing scheduling the user device with the largest portion of data units already successfully transmitted within the set of data units, and prioritizing scheduling the user device which set of data units has the smallest remaining transmission delay budget.

Abstract: A technique, comprising: receiving at a node of a radio access network of a mobile communication system one or more control plane messages indicating a plurality of quality-of-service profiles for a quality-of-service flow for a logical connection between a user equipment and a data network via the radio access network; receiving user plane messages for the quality-of-service flow at the radio access network node, wherein an individual user plane message comprises a header comprising at least a first field; determining at the radio access network node one of the plurality of quality-of-service profiles to adopt for the quality-of-service flow based on the first field and an indication in the one or more control plane messages of a mapping of the plurality of quality-of service profiles to a plurality of values for the first field.

The method of providing RTP body for storage and/or transportation of a fluid, comprises providing a first pipe body layer; providing a further pipe body layer coaxial with the first pipe body layer; providing a plurality of helically wound wire elements disposed between the first pipe body layer and the further pipe body layer; heating surrounding precursor thermoplastic material via Joule heating of the wire elements thereby providing viscous state thermoplastic polymer at least one of a first interface location between the first pipe body layer and the further pipe body layer; and subsequently cooling the viscous state thermoplastic polymer for joint consolidation thereby consolidating RTP body over at least a portion of a whole length of the RTP body.
