    Abstract: The Vertebra Pick Device represents a new instrument to bore pilot holes in vertebra pedicles while imaging the operation with an integrated endoscope. The pilot holes are bored to provide entry points for pedicle screws that serve as anchor points for spine stabilizing rods to treat several spine conditions. The device consists of a metal body that terminates in a tapered incision tip, an endoscope that runs inside said metal body, a handle to drive the device into pedicle boney tissue and a fiber optics bundle assembly that enters the device handle and is used to connect to imaging, illumination, irrigation and suction devices to enable the endoscopic functions of the device. The fiber optics bundle assembly connects to an imaging camera that provides an electrical signal to a monitor to view the operation in real time.

As a non-limiting example, a statistical sampling profile is first taken of the running program, and then the data is converted into several representations. By selecting representative functions based on sampling frequency and call tree hierarchy and then sorting those functions chronologically and hierarchically, an abstract code execution timeline can be generated that summarizes execution within a single repetitive time period, such as a video frame. This timeline is called “Story Mode” since it tells a story of how the program executes over the course of a frame. This abstract code execution timeline can then be used to facilitate program comprehension, primarily for the purposes of modifying the code to improve execution speed.

    Abstract: An electrical machine, preferably a blower drive mechanism for a motor vehicle, having a shaft which is supported in at least two bearings with a specified axial play; a cylindrical bearing is secured in a bearing seat of an end shield and rests directly on the bearing seat. The cylindrical bearing has a cylindrical outer circumference, and the bearing seat is a sleeve with a cylindrical inside diameter, into which sleeve the cylindrical bearing is secured with a press fit on the outer circumference and is held axially in the bearing seat by the thus-attained frictional engagement. This has the advantage that more-precise adjustment of the longitudinal play of the armature is possible. Moreover, no additional components such as retaining springs are necessary.

    Abstract: A rotisserie apparatus for rotating and roasting articles of food comprising a support assembly, a skewer assembly, a rotatable assembly and a drive assembly. The drive assembly turning a plurality of rotatable assemblies which are in turn removably mounted to skewer assemblies. The skewer assemblies hold food stuffs, which a user desires to roast, over a heat source. Because each skewer is independently and removably mounted to its own rotatable assembly, the entire device does not have to be stopped to remove a single skewer assembly. The support assembly, in conjunction with the rotatable assembly, cooperatively suspends the skewer assemblies over the heat source contained therein.
