Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the isolation, identification and characterization of novel sporeforming probiotic strain(s) with NSPase (Non-Starch Polysaccharides-active hydrolases) activity isolated from fish gut microbiota, methods and uses thereof. The sporeforming probiotic strain(s) with NSPase activity now disclosed are able of producing carbohydrate-active enzymes (CAZymes) that hydrolyse non-starch polysaccharides (NSPs) and accesses their potential as probiotics (PRO) for use in particular in aquafeeds.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for signal processing in a radio system. The method comprises generating (801), in an apparatus (602), a single carrier frequency division multiplexing SC-FDM signal having a shorter duration than a time symbol duration defined by a radio standard applied in the radio system. The signal is transmitted (802) from the communications apparatus (602). The method comprises receiving (803) said signal from the communications apparatus (602), wherein orthogonality of frequency subcarriers is maintained at a receiver (601) of the signal.

Abstract: A technique including: controlling a radio device of a first cell to transmit information identifying one or more radio resources allocated to both downlink and uplink transmissions of a type of reference signal in the first cell; and controlling the radio device to transmit the type of reference signal in the first cell using the one or more radio resources; wherein the one or more radio resources are excluded from use for transmission of the type of reference signal in one or more other interfering cells.

Abstract: An apparatus (UEA) may generate a zero-tail signal to be transmitted in an LTE/LTE-A cell, by introducing time domain samples with zero power or very low power in specific positions of a time symbol tail. The apparatus (UEA) may transmit the generated zero-tail signal to a base station (eNB), such that a first user terminal (UEA) is located in the cell farther away (e.g. on a cell egde) from the base station (eNB) than a second user terminal (UEB). Thus coexistence of signals sent by user terminals (UEA, UEB) located at different distances from the base station (eNB) within a same receiver window is enabled without inter-symbol interference. The generated zero-tail signal may also be transmitted from the first user terminal (UEA) or from the base station (eNB) in an outdoor system that is detectable by a neighbouring indoor system.
