    Abstract: The invention relates to a conditional access method and system for assessing a right of access to content for a user device wherein a data-string is generated by a generating module of an access server and the data-string at least comprises access right data expressing the right of access which data-string is sent to the user device. A content server receives at least the access right data and comprises an assessment module for assessing the right of access based on the access right data. The system can be easily expanded with further access servers and/or further content servers.
