  • Publication number: 20240112849
Abstract: A transformer coil comprises low and high voltage windings wound on a supporting construction and immersed in a main insulation material. The transformer coil has also a first barrier arranged proximate the low voltage winding and a second barrier arranged proximate the high voltage winding. Each of the first and second barriers is gas-tight and semiconductive so that gas bubbles potentially released during immersion in the main insulation material are unable to migrate to a high electric field region during the casting process or during apparatus operation.

  • Patent number: 11695331
Abstract: A converter apparatus includes a string of electrically interconnected modules that includes a first group of modules comprising a first module and a second group of modules comprising a second module. A first screen is connected to a first defined electric potential and is located adjacent the first group of modules and a second screen is connected to a second defined electric potential and is located adjacent the second group of modules. During operation of the converter apparatus a resonance loop is created from the first module via the first and second screens and the second module back to the first module. A damping unit is located in the resonance loop and is set to dampen electromagnetic noise.

  • Patent number: 11211190
Abstract: The subject of the present application is a cover for distribution transformer filled with a dielectric liquid, equipped with electronic device integrated with the cover which is applied for transmission and distribution of electric energy. The cover is characterized in that the electronic device is immersed in the dielectric liquid filling a cooling compartment fixed on the cover; the cooling compartment has side walls, a top wall and a bottom wall which bottom wall is matched in the window made in the cover and the bottom wall forms a thermal barrier between the interior of the electric power device and the interior of the cooling compartment and the both interiors of the cooling compartment and of the electric power device are hermetically closed together.

  • Patent number: 10861642
Abstract: The subject of the application is a power electronic tap changer module for transformer using power electronic elements connected to sections of a primary winding of the transformer. The power electronic tap changer module is equipped with valves having a pair of a thyristor or transistors connected with a controller and the valves are connected in series with the fuses, respectively. The module is equipped with an additional oversized tap line having an oversized valve rated for short circuit current, which valve is connected with an overvoltage triggering circuit. The oversized valve is equipped with a pair of thyristor or transistors connected with a thermally protected voltage suppressing device.
