Abstract: A process for surgical operations on a rectal/haemorrhoidal prolapse comprises stages of realising, in the anal canal, at least a first circular stitching at a first portion of a haemorrhoidal prolapse; realising at least a second circular stitching in a second portion of the haemorrhoidal prolapse, and nearing the first circular stitching and the second circular stitching in order to create a constriction of the haemorrhoidal prolapse. The invention also relates to a device, preferably for actuating the process, which comprises a hollow divaricator (17) having a prevalent development direction along a longitudinal axis (Z) and being insertable in a patient's anal orifice. The device further exhibits a window (29) defining an operational area and creating a communication between a cavity (17b) internal of the divaricator (17) and a portion of haemorrhoidal prolapse. The device further comprises means for opening and closing (31) the window (29).

Abstract: A medical surgical device for coloproctological pathologies comprises a tubular body (2), provided with a first end (5), which can be inserted into the anal cavity, and a second end (6), opposite the first end (5) and connected to a handle (7) for maneuvering the tubular body (2) inside the anal cavity. A light source (8) for illuminating the inside of the tubular body (2) can be removably connected to the tubular body (2). Downstream of the light source (8) is located an entraining body (10) for entraining a portion of the light emitted by the light source (8) toward the inserting end (5). The entraining body (10) comprises a thickening (11) on the internal wall (3).

In the connection zone of the handle to the external mouth of the retractor there is provided a channel (C) which contains a parabola (5) which reflects the light supplied from said luminous source (F) and which sends the reflected light inside of the same retractor, to illuminate a lateral window (8) through which appears the rectal mucosa upon which the operation must be made for the ligature of the arteria haemorroidalis.
