  • Patent number: 5810362
Abstract: A board game is provided having a generally rectangular game board including an undulating bottom surface defining parallel valleys having a part cylindrical shape and formed about parallel axes extending transversely of the board. Ball player assemblies are mounted to rotate about respective ones of the parallel axes, and slidable axially so that a game player can move the ball player into position to pick up a ball lying in an associated one of the valleys below the ball player. Targets are mounted on the respective end walls and each of the ball players has a body and an arm assembly rotatable relative to the body for rotation between a pick-up and a delivery position about the axis. The arm assembly defines a scoop which moves adjacent the valley to engage a ball and, after receiving the ball, the ball can be projected by continuing the movement and stopping suddenly so that the ball flies out of the scoop and towards a target.

  • Patent number: 4732723
Abstract: The invention relates to a net composed of a regular array of longitudinal ribbon-formed continuous filaments of a polymer substance, and a regular array of transverse stems of different polymer matter, said filaments being embedded in said stems, as well as to a process of producing such net from a sheet consisting of a regular array of longitudinal ribbon-like polymer filaments embedded in a polymer matrix, the filament polymer having a higher melting point than the matrix polymer, by transversely impressing said sheet at a temperature where said matrix is at least semi-molten and the filaments are solid, then splitting the structure.
