  • Patent number: 9759190
Abstract: Disclosed is a wind turbine with a nacelle and a rotor, the rotor including a number of blades and a hub, the nacelle and the hub being connected with each other in an interface region, the wind turbine further including a transport system for transporting hydraulic and/or pneumatic fluid from the nacelle into the hub. The transport system includes a rotary unit as a connection through which the fluid passes and a part of which rotates in operation together with the hub which rotary unit is positioned in the hub at a position distanced from the interface region facing away from the nacelle, the transport system further including a pipe system leading from the interface region into the hub to the rotary unit and being fixed in its position. The disclosure also concerns a method of construction of such wind turbine.

  • Patent number: 9194364
Abstract: A direct drive wind turbine with a nacelle and a rotor including a hub, the nacelle and the hub connected in an interface region. The wind turbine includes a transport system for transporting hydraulic and/or pneumatic fluid from the nacelle into the hub. The transport system includes a rotary unit through which the fluid passes. A part of the rotary unit rotates in operation together with the hub. The rotary unit is positioned in the hub at a position distanced from the interface region facing away from the nacelle. Further disclosed are a transport system and a method of construction of such a direct drive wind turbine.

  • Publication number: 20100119720
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process—as disclosed in WO 01/37662 for the impregnation of a non living material, for example a fabric or a netting, so as to impart insect killing and/or repellence properties. The process involves the preparation of a solution of an insecticide and a film forming component reducing wash off and degradation of the insecticide, wherein said film forming component comprises a polymeric backbone fixative polymerizing into a film with polyflourocarbon side chains on the polymeric backbone in a drying and curing process of the non-living material. It has been found that the risk for precipitation of the insecticide in the solution of the insecticide is reduced if the insecticide is dissolved in a solvent combined with alcohol or glycol having a water content of less than 5%, and/or the insecticide is dissolved in a solvent and mixed with a water phase emulsion or solution having a temperature of less that 30° C.
