An aerosol-generating system including an aerosol-generating device including a heater, and the aerosol-generating article, is also provided.

Abstract: A replaceable module is provided for an aerosol- and flavor-generating device, including an air chamber including an air inlet for an entrance of an airflow into the air chamber, an air outlet for an exit of a first portion of the airflow out of the air chamber, the air outlet to be connected to an aerosol-generating article to direct the first portion of the airflow through the aerosol-generating article, the air chamber further including an opening arranged at a circumference of the air chamber for an exit of a second portion of the airflow radially out of the air chamber, and holder for holding a flavor-generating article between the air inlet and the opening. A heating system for an aerosol- and flavor-generating device, an aerosol- and flavor-generating device, and a method of providing an airflow through a replaceable module for an aerosol- and flavor-generating device, are also provided.

Abstract: A mouthpiece is provided for an aerosol generating device, including: an airflow channel extending at least partially through the mouthpiece to a mouthpiece opening arranged at a proximal end of the mouthpiece; a first electrode arranged on a front face of the mouthpiece to provide a first electrical contact to a user, the front face being a surface extending essentially perpendicular or angular to a longitudinal direction of the mouthpiece; and a second electrode arranged on a lateral surface of the mouthpiece to provide a second electrical contact to a user, the lateral surface being a peripheral surface of the mouthpiece. A method for an electrical stimulation of taste buds of a user, and a manufacturing method for a mouthpiece for an aerosol-generating device, are also provided.

Upon heating, the precursor compound releases a thiol-containing flavour compound or intermediate that enhances the flavour experience of the aerosol-forming substrate when used in a smoking article. The smoking article may include tobacco and may be configured to heat, but not combust, the tobacco.
