Abstract: A slide-open package of tobacco articles, having a parallelepiped-shaped inner container which houses a group of tobacco articles and has two opposite, parallel major lateral walls; a parallelepiped-shaped outer container which has two opposite, parallel major lateral walls and houses the inner container to allow the inner container to slide between a closed position, in which the inner container is inserted inside the outer container, and an open position, in which the inner container is at least partly withdrawn from the outer container; and at least one coupon located between a first major lateral wall of the inner container and a major lateral wall of the outer container.

Abstract: A method and machine for producing a package with a coupon, whereby a product is fed to a packing station via a feed station, where the coupon is applied on to a top wall of the product; at the packing station, a sheet of packing material is wrapped about the product to enclose both the product and the coupon, and, between the feed station and the packing station, the coupon is subjected to an electric field and charged electrostatically, so as to adhere electrostatically to the product; the electric field is generated by at least one fixed guide, which is parallel to the path so as to face the top wall of the product, and comprises a number of conducting bodies having a high direct voltage with respect to an electric earth.

Abstract: A feed unit for feeding sheets to a packing line, wherein a pickup device engages a withdrawal opening, formed in a vertical hopper housing a stack of sheets, to withdraw a single sheet from the stack and feed the sheet to the packing line; two rollers are located on opposite sides of the stack at the withdrawal opening in the hopper, and each has a lateral surface, on which rests a bottom portion of the stack, and rotates continuously about a respective longitudinal axis of symmetry in such a direction as to push the sheets in the stack upwards.
