  • Patent number: 11841971
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to systems and methods for secure customer data handling. More specifically, some embodiments relate to handling of derivative data as a provider in a manner that supports security and provides a stronger level of control over the data. The solution supports four core principles of customer data handling: no export of customer data, unless authorized; remote operations only via shell access or equivalent; temporary and task-based privileges; and diagnostic data to be ephemeral. The customer data handling system herein includes a central repository for the storage of diagnostic data, an upload tool for uploading to the central repository and automated staging on containers, a diagnostic virtual machine that enables task-based access to diagnostic data and analysis tools hosted on a dedicated container, and an application for handling requests, provisioning and staging containers, and purging.

  • Publication number: 20230228244
Abstract: A controller for the yaw function is coupled with a yaw system for controlling the operation of yaw motors in the yaw function of a wind turbine. A control signal is provided to the controller that is reflective of a grid condition of an electric grid. The control signal is evaluated, and the controller selectively delays the yaw function based upon the control signal. In another embodiment, the yaw system includes brakes for the yaw motors that are coupled with an independent power supply. The controller selectively delays the yaw function if the brake power supply is not operational.

  • Patent number: 11603882
Abstract: A bearing unit of a yawing system of a wind turbine having a tower and a nacelle connected by the yawing system. The bearing unit includes an adjuster element moveably secured to the bearing unit, a body element translatable relative to the adjuster element, a bearing element in contact with the body element, and a biasing means positioned between the body element and the adjuster element for applying a tension force to the bearing unit. The adjuster element adjusts the tension force applied to the bearing unit through translation of the body element, and respective surfaces of the adjuster element and the body element are visible during use.

  • Patent number: 10251406
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for loosening bones such as ribs from a meat piece from slaughtered animals such as pigs. The bone puller such as rib puller can be hand-held and e.g. pneumatic activated or connected to a robot, and is much easier to use than prior art pneumatic rib pullers and also impose less working stress upon the user. The bone puller may comprise a counter hold for supporting the device towards a belly piece from a slaughtered animal, a string for loosening a bone, a movable pull bar for pulling the string, and a holding-down bar for holding down a bone while loosening this bone. The device may further comprise loading means located at the end of the holding-down bar such that the string can surround the loading means and where this loading means secure feeding of the string around an exposed bone end before loosening this bone.

  • Patent number: 8175286
Abstract: The invention relates to simulation of sound fields in enclosures, for instance for application in listening tests, where test subjects assess the sound quality or other sound perception characteristics of the sound field. According to a specific embodiment, the system comprises a binaural synthesis portion which synthesizes sound for instance from a sound-reproduction equipment based on measured impulse responses of an actual room stored in a data base (31) and a binaural recording portion comprising a data base 32 for storing binaural recordings of other sound signals made in the room. Data from these databases are mixed (41) and reproduced by means of a headphone (39) provided with a head tracker (42) for tracking the movements of the listener's head. The invention furthermore comprises the use of cross-fading functions (36, 37) to enable the dynamic listening conditions, where the movements of the listener's head are taken into account during the simulation process.
