  • Publication number: 20070212412
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising sertindole and a protective agent absorbing radiation with a wavelenght below 400 nm. The present invention also relates to the use of sertindole for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition comprising sertindole and a coating layer compsrising said protective agent, such as ironoxide, for the treatment of schizophrenia.

  • Publication number: 20050103754
Abstract: As a rule, electron beam welding takes place in a vacuum. However, this means that the workpieces in question have to be placed in a vacuum chamber and have to be removed therefrom after welding. This is time-consuming and a serious limitation of a process the greatest advantage of which is the option of welding workpieces of large thicknesses. Therefore the idea is to guide the electron beam (2) to the workpiece via a hollow wire, said wire thereby acting as a prolongation of the vacuum chamber (4) down to workpiece. Thus, a workpiece need not be placed inside the vacuum chamber, thereby exploiting the potential of electron beam processing to a greater degree than previously possible, for example by means of electron beam welding.

  • Patent number: 5505365
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of accurately joining together two sheet sections along edges of the sheets having complementary shapes, and wherein the edge of at least one sheet section is formed by means of a numerically controlled machine with the sheet section fixed in a fixture by moving a cutting member relative to the sheet section according to a predetermined path, whereafter complementary edges of the two sheet sections are made to abut each other and the two sheet sections are welded together in a numerically controlled machine, one sheet section being fixedly retained in said fixture and the knowlegde of the path used during cutting is used to determine the path of the welding means at the welding of the sheet sections.

  • Patent number: 5011253
Abstract: An optical system for laser marking, such as for engraving marks such as numbers and dates on surfaces, and exhibiting improved efficiency and improved quality of the resulting mark. The optical system includes a focusing system, such as a lens, and a concave mirror situated between the laser and the mask with its vertex at the focal point of the focusing system and its reflecting surface facing the mask. An inlet opening in the concave mirror is formed about the vertex, and the transverse measurement of the inlet opening is slightly larger than the transverse measurement of the focal point. The mask is formed as a mirror, preferably a plane mirror, with the reflecting surface facing the concave mirror, and the radius of curvature of the concave mirror is longer than twice the distance between the mask and the concave mirror.
