Abstract: Novel cosmetic and dermatological uses of an extract of Cistus monspeliensis The invention relates to the non-therapeutic cosmetic use of an extract of Cistus monspeliensis for increasing and/or maintaining tissue homeostasis in the skin and/or the mucous membranes and/or the skin appendages, by increasing and/or maintaining the barrier function and/or cell differentiation in the skin and/or the mucous membranes and/or the skin appendages.
