Abstract: Provided is a method for downloading a profile from a SM-DP+, Subscription Manager-Data Preparation Plus, to a secure element of a device, wherein the SM-DP+ stores profiles classified in three categories: a Preferred profile type; an Authorized profile type; and a Forbidden profile type, a profile type that has been downloaded on a device with failure. The method comprises includes retrieving by the SM-DP+ a device type identifier of the device and selecting in the categories a profile of either a Preferred profile type or an Authorized profile type, based on the device type identifier, a profile of the Preferred profile type having, for the selection, a higher priority than a profile of the Authorized profile; and downloading from the SM-DP+ to the device the selected profile and installing it in the secure element.

Abstract: Provided is a method for informing a mobile network operator server which profile of a profile type should be downloaded from a SM-DP+, Subscription Manager—Data Preparation, to a secure element comprised in a device, the SM-DP+ storing profiles classified in three categories: Preferred profile type, Authorized profile type and Forbidden profile type. The method includes method generating, by the mobile network operator server or the SM-DP+ an Eligibility ID, and sharing the Eligibility ID between the mobile network operator server, the SM-DP+ and the device for pairing the messages exchanged between them; transmitting from the device to the SM-DP+ information on the secure element and the device; and transmitting from the SM-DP+ to the mobile network operator server the information on the profile type to be downloaded in the secure element, based on the information on the secure element and the device. Abstract: Herein provided is a solution to recover a subscription profile of a user that has lost or broken their mobile phone, smartphone, PDA, or other type of terminal. The solution reduces the risk of a subscription clone after having broken or lost their device. In one embodiment, a method herein provides for the recovering of a subscription profile loaded in a secure element that would not otherwise be retrievable from a telecommunication terminals, like eUICCs. The method includes the steps of retrieving the profile downloaded in the first secure element, and then installing it in a second secure element. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A recommender system for determining multimedia items to be presented in an online interface of a multimedia content provider. The recommender system continuously observes the user's behavior in order to define a context for the user which on the basis of which recommendations are computed. The recommender system observes a variety of events so as to improve the level of pertinence of the recommendations which are presented to the user in the online interface. The recommender system further observes the collection of multimedia items which are hosted by an online multimedia content provider system.
