  • Patent number: 10480645
Abstract: A method for controlling an automatic gearbox for a motor vehicle having at least two different drive train states. The method includes: determining minimum deceleration force requirement that needs to be achieved by the drive train state depending on speed of the vehicle, longitudinal acceleration, and resistive forces experienced by the vehicle, then taking a decision to authorize or prohibit the drive train state for which the minimum deceleration force requirement has been calculated depending on the deceleration force setpoint, the current drive chain state, and the minimum force achievable by the drive train state in question.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 20, 2015
Date of Patent: November 19, 2019
    Assignee: RENAULT s.a.s.
Inventors: Florent Le-Cam, Frederic Roudeau, Aurelien Lefevre
  • Patent number: 10315646
Abstract: A method controls state changes of a drivetrain of a vehicle connecting at least one heat engine and/or one electric motor to the wheels of the vehicle via a transmission, providing the transfer of torque from the heat engine and/or from the electric motor to the wheels in one or more gear ratios. The authorization to switch from a current state to a target state depends on reducing an acceleration of the vehicle in an intermediate state causing a lower acceleration of the vehicle during the transition between the current state and the target state.

  • Publication number: 20180186382
Abstract: A method is provided for the anticipatory starting of a heat engine in a hybrid power train that includes at least a heat engine, a traction electric machine and an automatic transmission transmitting the drive power to the wheels of the vehicle in at least one initial state of the drive train of same in which the traction machine alone provides the traction of the vehicle and the heat engine is switched off, and at least one other target state in which the heat engine provides tractive power. The method involves sending, to the heat engine, an anticipatory starting request depending on the longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle and the starting time of same, before each change of state of the drive train between an initial state not requiring a started heat engine, and a target state requiring same to be started.
