Abstract: A method of configuring a control unit (CPU) of an actuator (ACT) including a motor (MOT) for operating a movable element (COV) of a home automation equipment item (INST) of closure, privacy, sun protection or screening, which comprises: a phase for supplying the motor during which at least one characteristic quantity (MV1, MV2, MZ1, MZ2) of the movement of the movable element is obtained with the aid of a measurement procedure comprising at least one step of integrating a physical quantity supplied by an accelerometer (ACC), at least one quantity (ROT, ROT1, ROT2) internal to the actuator being measured during this supply phase, and a phase for determining a relation (REL) between the characteristic quantity and the internal quantity.

Abstract: The method comprises the generation of a control to be executed, the sending of a signal repeating a frame including the code of the control to be executed and the reception of this signal for application of the control to the actuator as long as the generation of the control lasts. It also includes: a step for inserting into the frame sent a time information item representative of the control generation duration, a step for extracting this time information item and a step for computing the application start and/or application end instant of a control, using the time information item.

Abstract: Secure transfer of information between a first command transmitter and a second command transmitter such as those employed for remote control of actuators employed in home automation systems for example for opening and closing windows, solar protection, ventilation, roller blinds, garage doors and the like, is achieved by first authenticating the first command transmitter with respect to a third object preferably constituting part of the existing network, such as a command receiver or command transmitter and only transferring information to the second command transmitter when authentication of the first command transmitter has succeeded. The method particularly applies when a new second command transmitter is to be installed on a home automation network, having identical rights and functionalities to those of the existing first command transmitter.

Abstract: A receiver is matched with two transmitters (8, 10, 12); the receiver (4) supplies a first transmitter (8) with an address and simultaneously stores the supplied address. The first transmitter stores the address supplied by the receiver. The receiver then supplies to a second transmitter (10) an address different from the address supplied to the first transmitter; the receiver simultaneously stores the supplied address. The second transmitter stores the address supplied by the receiver. The supply of different addresses for different transmitters enables to improve security by using between each transmitter and the receiver revolving code methods.
