  • Publication number: 20230366422
Abstract: A method of gluing a first metal part to a second part includes the steps of providing a first metal part such as a steel part, and the second part such as a second metal part, treating a surface portion of the first metal part intended for being glued to the second part with laser pulses so that a surface layer of the first metal part across the surface portion is removed, preferably by ablation, while applying laser pulses to the surface portion of the first metal part also applying a pressurized air or gas stream to the surface portion, applying an adhesive to at least the surface portion of the first metal part and/or to a surface of the second part, and gluing the first metal part and the second part together.

  • Patent number: 8534500
Abstract: The present invention relates to a personal use device, preferably a toothbrush, a shaving device, or a hair removal device. The invention relates to a refill pack for such a personal use device, having a supply container (2), particularly a supply bag, containing at least one hygiene or care substance such as toothpaste or the like, and a pump (3) tightly connected to the supply container, the pump chamber of which is connected to the interior (6) of the supply container via an input valve (5). By deformation of a membrane which bounds the pump chamber (7), the pump chamber volume can be changed. The invention also relates to a method for filling such a refill pack.

  • Patent number: 8100723
Abstract: A battery contact spring with a spring body manufactured as a flexible wire part is disclosed. The battery contact spring has a first contact head section for contacting a first battery; a second contact head section for contacting a second battery, and at least one first spiral spring section that extends between a spring foot area and the first contact head section and which flexibly supports the first contact head section. The spring body is designed in such a way that a coil end of the first spiral spring section opposite the spring foot area crosses over into the first contact head section and attached to this first head section is a connection bridge that crosses over into the second contact head section.

  • Patent number: 7209547
Abstract: An apparatus for spatial modulation of an x-ray beam has a number of planar attenuation elements for x-ray radiation that are disposed in a grid on a carrier and can be pivoted or tilted by a piezoelectric actuator, independently of one another, between at least two positions. One or more sensors with which a piezoelectrically-caused length and/or width and/or position change of the piezoelectrically influenced regions can be detected, are arranged on piezoelectrically influenced regions of the attenuation elements or the actuators. A significant dose reduction and/or dynamic adjustment thereof can be achieved with the apparatus by image adaptation in many areas of x-ray imaging, since a precise determination of the position of each attenuation element in real time is enabled.
