  • Publication number: 20240175228
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a trench cutter having at least one bearing shield, at least one cutting wheel rotatably mounted on the bearing shield for breaking up soil material, and a suction box arranged radially adjacent to the cutting wheel for sucking liquid containing soil material. At least one adjustable cutting tool is arranged on the cutting wheel where as the cutting wheel rotates, it moves between a folded-in position, which is an axial distance from the bearing shield and can be moved past it, and a folded-out position, which it projects into an area radially adjacent to the bearing shield. The suction box has a recess where in the folded-out position or in the transition between the folded-in position and the folded-out position, the cutting tool moves through the recess. The disclosure also relates to a carrier machine, in particular a cable excavator, having a trench cutter.

  • Patent number: 11619023
Abstract: The application relates to a modular slurry wall cutter for preparing a slurry trench that is connectable to a carrier machine, said slurry wall cutter having a frame and at least one cutting tool arranged at the frame to break up soil material. The frame here comprises an upper frame part, a middle frame part, and a lower frame part that are releasably connectable to one another, with the upper and lower frame parts being releasably connectable to one another both directly and via the middle frame part that can be arranged therebetween. The application further relates to a carrier machine, such as to a cable excavator, having a slurry wall cutter in accordance with the application.

  • Patent number: 11041283
Abstract: A slurry wall grab has a hybrid drive in turn having at least one pulley block, at least one hydraulic actuator, and at least one energy store. The hydraulic actuator and the pulley block open and/or close a grab jaw of the slurry wall grab. The energy store can be charged by actuating the pulley block.
