  • Publication number: 20240134188
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for scanning field correction at least of a laser scanner device (300), wherein the method comprises the following steps: —providing a scatter pattern element (30) on a processing plane (11), wherein the scatter pattern element (30) comprises at least one scatter region (31) which is arranged in a scatter pattern (M); —passing over or scanning at least one part of the scatter pattern element (30) on the processing plane (11) by means of a laser beam (12) of the at least one laser scanner device (300) along scanner coordinates (x, y, z), wherein the laser beam passes through at least one window (20), preferably protective glass, between a deflection unit (10) and the processing plane (11); —detecting scatter radiation (13) which can be generated by scattering and/or reflection of the laser beam (12) when passing over or scanning the at least one scatter region (31); —creating a contour diagram (K) by correlating the detected scatter radiation (13) with the scanner coordinates

  • Publication number: 20230410561
Abstract: A method for distinguishing different configuration states of an object based on an image representation of the object involves acquiring original image data representing an original image comprising a picture of the object; detecting the object within the original image; determining an orientation of the detected object; determining a region-of-interest within the original image representing the picture of the object at least in parts; generating normalized image data representing a two-dimensional normalized image by transforming the ROI of the original image based on the determined orientation of the object to a reference frame in which the ROI is represented by the normalized image with a predefined standard orientation and scaling; extracting characteristic features of the object as represented by the normalized image data; and classifying the extracted characteristic features to determine a specific configuration state of the object associated with the classification.

  • Publication number: 20230353763
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of encoding image data representing a geographical line, GL, or its surroundings, and a data processing system being configured to perform the encoding. The method comprises applying a data compression process to reduce the spatial resolution of a given image represented by the image data. Specifically, the image may form an imagery layer of an imagery stack comprising various imagery layers, each imagery layer representing an individual image, e.g. of a same geographical region.

  • Publication number: 20230227600
Abstract: The present invention relates to polyphosphazenes, polyurethanes based on these polyphosphazenes, methods for their manufacture and hydrogels based on the polyurethanes. The invention further relates to the use of the hydrogels in medical, veterinary and agricultural applications. The terminal ends of the polyphosphazenes bear NCO-reactive hydrogen atoms for reaction with polyisocyanates.

  • Publication number: 20230177795
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of determining one or more conditions, of a geographical line, GL, or its surroundings. The method comprises: acquiring geo-referenced earth observation data representing one or more spatially overlapping imagery layers covering from an aerial or space perspective a specific region of interest, ROI, of the Earth's surface, the ROI comprising the GL; geometrically transforming the geo-referenced observation data, at least in parts, into a local internal frame of reference of the GL within the ROI to obtain a mapping of the geo-referenced observation data to respective corresponding coordinates within the local internal frame of reference of the GL; and evaluating the mapped earth observation data as represented in the local internal frame of reference of the GL according to a classification scheme to obtain therefrom evaluation data representing a classification of one or more properties of the GL or of its surroundings according to one or more conditions of the GL.

  • Patent number: 9922244
Abstract: Described herein are a system and method for identifying extremities of an object within a scene. The method comprises operating an image processing system to receive image data from a sensor. The image data represents an image of the scene with the object. The image data comprises a two-dimensional array of pixels and each pixel contains a depth value indicating distance from the sensor. The image processing system slices the image into slices. Each respective slice comprises those pixels with depth values that lie within a respective range of distances defined relative to a reference. For each of the slices, the method identifies one or more connected regions of pixels that are neighbors in the two-dimensional array of pixels. The method builds, based on the connected region of pixels that have been identified for the slices and depth information inherent to the respective slices, a graph consisting of interconnected nodes.
