    Abstract: A plasma device applies cold atmospheric plasma to a surface to be treated, in particular to textiles, leather and/or plastic fibers. An actuator activates a plasma source, provided that a distance between the plasma source and the surface to be treated is less than a predetermined distance. The actuator has an adjustable and pre-loaded actuator element with at least one activation element and has a recording apparatus that records the position of the actuator element at least when the distance between the plasma source and the surface to be treated is less than the predetermined distance. The plasma device makes it possible to avoid risks owing to incorrect operation by the client and to avoid emissions, since the plasma source is activated only when the distance from the item to be treated (e.g., clothing to be cleaned) is less than the predetermined threshold distance.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a storage tank for storing a sorbent material. Said storage tank comprises a pressure vessel, a connecting element to an external supply system, at least on sorbent material which contains a sorbent and an adsorbate that adsorbs thereto, especially a gaseous fuel, preferably hydrogen, and which is stored in the storage tank at least during proper use of the storage tank, and a conduit for feeding and/or discharging sorbent material into/from the storage tank. At least one second duct is provided for supplying and/or evacuating a gas (gas duct). The sorbent is formed on the basis of heavy-duty adsorbents based on activated carbon in the form of discrete, activated carbon grains, preferably spherical ones. At least 70 percent of the entire pore volume of the heavy-duty adsorbents are formed by microspores having a diameter of ?20.

    Abstract: The invention concerns, among other things, a storage system (40) for storing a medium, particularly an adsorption storage system for adsorbing a medium, comprising a storage vessel (10) inside of which a storage material (30) for storing, particularly for adsorbing a medium, is provided, and comprising a vessel connection (15) for loading/emptying the storage vessel (10). In order to be able to realize an efficient supply of energy and/or removal of energy, the invention provides that at least one circulation circuit (41) is provided for the storage medium by means of which a removal of energy and/or supply of energy ensues in the storage vessel (10). In addition, the storage medium serves as an energy carrier, and the storage vessel (10) is at least temporarily integrated in the circulation circuit (41). The invention also relates to a method for loading a storage system (40) with a storage medium and emptying the same therefrom.
