  • Publication number: 20240154672
Abstract: A communication device for providing an explicit channel state information, CSI, feedback in a wireless communication system includes a transceiver to receive, from a transmitter a radio signal via a radio time-variant frequency MIMO channel, the radio signal including downlink reference signals according to a reference signal configuration, and downlink signals including the reference signal configuration, and a processor. The processor estimates the CSI using measurements on the downlink reference signals of the radio channel according to the reference signal configuration over one or more time instants/slots, constructs a frequency-domain channel tensor using the CSI estimate, performs a higher-order principal component analysis, HO-PCA, on the channel tensor, identifies a plurality of dominant principal components of the channel tensor, thereby obtaining a compressed channel tensor, and reports to the transmitter the explicit CSI including the dominant principal components of the channel tensor.

  • Patent number: 11881967
Abstract: There are disclosed techniques (e.g., apparatus, methods) for estimating an impulse response of a linear system. An apparatus is configured to generate a transmit signal on the basis of a first sequence. The apparatus is configured to obtain a receive signal and to multiply the receive signal with a second sequence, to obtain a modified receive signal, wherein the second sequence is different from the first sequence. The apparatus is configured to analog-to-digital, ADC, convert an integration result in order to obtain a sample value, the integration result being based on an integration of the modified receive signal over a period of time. The apparatus is configured to obtain an estimate of the impulse response on the basis of a plurality of sample values.

  • Patent number: 10315632
Abstract: A dual mass flywheel protection system includes an engine coupled to a transmission using a dual mass flywheel defining a drive train. A gear determiner identifies a present operational gear. A filtered engine speed is available. A torque reduction module applies the present operational gear and filtered engine speed producing signals limiting an engine torque to reduce engine torque variations. A first torque limitation option limits engine torque when the drivetrain is coupled, dependent on an engine rpm, which is related to an actual gear selected. A second torque limitation option determines an engine torque reduction during an emergency braking maneuver while an anti-lock brake (ABS) system is active. An engine shut-off module produces an output signal shutting off the engine upon initiation of one of multiple engine shut-off module outputs, and is active when an engine torque limitation due to a low engine rpm is not present.

  • Patent number: 9363815
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for scheduling a SDMA user group in an MU MIMO system and a base station. The method comprise the following steps: calculating, according to channel state information, a projection matrix of a channel matrix of each user in a user group on a joint channel matrix of other users in the same user group, where the user group is selected from a plurality of users; calculating a capacity metric of the user group according to the projection matrixes; and selecting an optimal user group according to the metrics of a plurality of user groups. The present invention effectively eliminates the MUI on terminal users at the transmitter side, and reduces the computational complexity.

  • Publication number: 20140185700
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies and discloses a method and an apparatus for linear precoding in a multi-user multiple-input multiple-output system, which can reduce computational complexity, improve system efficiency, and enhance system robustness by using a linear precoding technology in the case of imperfect CSI. According to the solutions provided in embodiments of the present invention, a first matrix is determined according to channel information of the system; an equivalent-channel matrix is acquired according to the first matrix; the equivalent-channel matrix is decomposed, and a second matrix is obtained through computation; a precoding matrix is obtained according to the first matrix and the second matrix, so that a power balance is achieved between spatial streams of each user after two signals to be concurrently transmitted are processed by using the precoding matrix.
