Abstract: A method of temperature control of a shaping tool or components of a shaping working machine is performed by a temperature control medium disposed in at least one temperature control branch of a temperature control system. A previously ascertained relationship between geometrical data of the at least one temperature control branch and through-flow amounts of the temperature control medium is provided, and a reference through-flow amount is set by the previously ascertained relationship for the geometrical data of the at least one temperature control branch.

Abstract: A temperature control device (14) for a shaping tool (3) or component of a shaping working machine comprising at least one temperature control branch (2, 2?) connected to a feed (5), and a pump system including at least one pump (13) for the delivery of temperature control medium in the feed (5), wherein there is provided at least one sensor by which at least one of the parameters from the group of temperature, through-flow amount and pressure can be detected and that there is provided a control or regulating device for regulating or controlling a delivery of the pump system, to which signals from the at least one sensor can be fed. A method of operating such a device is also described.

Abstract: In a method of monitoring an apparatus for temperature control media supply of a tool of an injection molding machine, the apparatus for temperature control media supply has a feed and a return, between which at least one temperature control conduit is arranged, wherein at least one through-flow sensor is arranged. At least one temperature control conduit. At least one pressure drop is measured in the at least one temperature control conduit. At least one hydraulic resistance and/or at least one resistance change in the at least one temperature control conduit is calculated on the basis of at least one volume flow measured with the at least one through-flow sensor and on the basis of the at least one measured pressure drop, and the at least one hydraulic resistance and/or the at least one resistance change is visually represented.
