  • Patent number: 5960926
Abstract: A friction clutch has device compensating for wear in the clutch friction wheel and, to a lesser extent, in the pressure plate and reaction plate of the clutch. The wear compensating device is of the type comprising a compensating device arranged between the thrust band and the pressure plate of the clutch, and the thrust band includes an abutment member cooperating with the cover plate for stabilising the position of the diaphragm when the clutch is engaged.

  • Patent number: 5937986
Abstract: The friction clutch, for a motor vehicle, includes a friction disc, a pressure plate (201), a cover plate (202) fixed on the reaction plate, and an axially acting spring (203) working between the cover plate (202) and the pressure plate (201), the pressure plate (201) being fixed to the cover plate (202) for rotation with the latter while being displaceable axially with respect to it, the clutch further including a wear compensating device comprising ramps (211) disposed circumferentially and adapted to be driven in rotation by a set of teeth (218) which they carry at the periphery, and with which a worm (213) cooperates; for driving the worm (213) in rotation, there is provided a ratchet wheel (220) fixed to the worm (213) for rotation with the latter, the worm (213) and the ratchet wheel (220) being formed in one piece: the teeth (221) of the ratchet wheel (220) are formed at the outer periphery of the thread of the worm (213).

  • Patent number: 5713449
Abstract: Cover with, on its external periphery, an alternation of radial surfaces (7) for coupling to a thrust plate (4) and areas (8) for fixing to a reaction plate (1), each fixing area (8) having an axial bracing area (81, 82) opposite a radial bearing surface (91) having a plurality of holes (92) for fixing members (10) to pass. Each bracing area has an alternation of internal stiffening ribs (82) and external stiffening ribs (81). The coupling surfaces (7) are delimited circumferentially by internal stiffening ribs (82), which connect a coupling surface (7) to the adjacent external stiffening ribs (81), and the internal stiffening ribs (81) are inclined in the axial direction going from their free end to the radial bearing surface of the bracing areas (81, 82).

  • Patent number: 4987075
Abstract: The inventive membrane of high selectivity comprises a laminated enzyme membrane, which is enclosed by two cellulose membranes. The laminated enzyme membrane is an enzyme-containing polyurethane layer; the cellulose membranes are coated with cellulose nitrate. The inventive process is characterized in that ferricyanide or hydrogen peroxide is added in the presence of peroxidase to the measurement sample, the measurement portion or the enzyme membrane.
