  • Publication number: 20230278453
Abstract: A method for controlling a charging infrastructure including spatially distributed electrical charging stations configured to be used by multiple vehicles of a fleet which are powered by drive batteries, the method comprising using a control system, wherein the control system encompasses a charging stations database, containing information about the availability of the electrical charging stations, a drive batteries database, containing information about states of charge of the drive batteries of the vehicles of the fleet, and a fleet navigation system, containing information about the spatial distribution of the vehicles of the fleet and information about respective traffic situations in which the vehicles of the fleet are involved, determining positions of vehicles of the fleet in a defined region and determining states of charge of drive batteries of the vehicles of the fleet in the defined region are, traffic situations in the defined region being taken into account, and depending on the availability of f

  • Patent number: 10854087
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an assistance system for a first vehicle, comprising a detection unit for detecting accident- and/or breakdown-related data from at least one device in a vehicle, a position determining unit for determining the current position of the first vehicle, an evaluation unit for evaluating data detected by the detection unit and the position determining unit, and a communication unit for issuing data using radio signals—automatically or following the triggering of an actuating unit in the vehicle—concerning an area around the current position of the first vehicle to be avoided by other road users using the communication unit if the evaluation unit has determined—based on the evaluation of the data collected—that the first vehicle has suffered an accident or that the first vehicle has experienced a breakdown.

  • Patent number: 10571292
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and a system for determining a route from a motor vehicle location to a destination, in which a vehicle control unit transmits an emergency call to a recipient of a central exchange. In the process, a computing device at the central exchange determines the route to the destination. In the process, the computing device of the central exchange takes into account, in selecting the destination, a first time period which the motor vehicle requires to traverse the route and a second time period which a rescue vehicle requires to reach the destination. The computing device selects the destination such that a sum of the two time periods is minimal.
