    Abstract: The invention relates to a cutting device for a film of an endless web, which includes at least one blade for severing the film. A blade holder which receives and fixes the blade thereto is disposed on a base ring. The base ring in turn, is rotatably supported on a flange element. The blade is disposed in the blade holder in such a way that upon a rotation of the base ring, severing of the film by the blade is effected.
