  • Publication number: 20260138850
Abstract: An integrated transport system in a building includes an elevator system and a vehicle system which are communicatively coupled to a control system. The elevator system has an elevator having an elevator car and an elevator controller configured to cause the elevator car to move between floors of the building. The vehicle system has a vehicle provided and movable on a floor served by the elevator system, wherein the vehicle is configured to serve an elevator hall on the floor. The control system is configured to process a travel request from a call terminal usable for entering the travel request which specifies a place of departure and a destination, to calculate a trip schedule based on the travel request, the trip schedule involving the elevator system and the vehicle system, and to control the elevator system and the vehicle system according to the trip schedule.

  • Patent number: 11846716
Abstract: A system for determining a position of a user in a building includes a control device, a plurality of stationary radio signal transmission devices, a radio signal receiving device, and a signal processing device. The signal processing device determines primary channel impulse responses based on the radio signals received by the receiving device. The signal processing device also determines a secondary channel impulse response based on a secondary radio signal received by the receiving device from a mobile device of a user. The channel impulse responses are evaluated to determine degrees of similarity that indicate how similar a first primary channel impulse response and the secondary channel impulse response are to one another. For each degree of similarity, a distance of the mobile device from the transmission device corresponding to the degree of similarity is determined. A position of the mobile device is determined based on the distances.

  • Patent number: 11610446
Abstract: A system for controlling access to an access-restricted zone in a building includes a transmitting device transmitting a first radio signal, a receiving device for radio signals, a control device and a signal processing device communicatively connected to the receiving and control devices. The signal processing device determines a first channel impulse response based on the first radio signal received by the receiving device and a second channel impulse response based on a second radio signal received by the receiving device. The second radio signal is transmitted from a first mobile electronic device of a first user. The signal processing device determines a degree of similarity by evaluating the first and second channel impulse responses. The degree of similarity indicates how similar the first and second channel impulse responses are to one another. The control device initiates a building action if the degree of similarity meets a specified rule.

  • Patent number: 11551501
Abstract: An access control system receives a device-specific identifier of a mobile electronic device and an electronic reference template for facial parameters of a user. The reception takes place when the mobile device is located in a public zone, from which the user can request access to an access-restricted zone. A memory unit stores the identifier of the mobile device and the reference template, which are received by a transmitting and receiving unit, as belonging to the user present in a public zone. An image processing unit generates a real-time template for facial features of the user based on an image of the user when the user requests access to the access-restricted zone. It determines if the real-time template matches a reference template stored in the memory unit to a defined degree, wherein the user is recognized as an access-requesting user in the event of a match.

  • Patent number: 11210880
Abstract: An access control system receives an identifier of a mobile electronic device when it is located in a public area, from which a user can request access to an access-restricted area. A dataset is created, which is assigned to the user present in the public area, for the identifier and for storing a password in the first dataset such that the password is assigned to the identifier. A code processing unit acquires a password presented by the user when the user requests access to the access-restricted area. A processor unit determines if the identifier is assigned to a user profile in a database, authenticates the user as having access authorization in the event of such an assignment and determines if the acquired password matches the password stored in the dataset, wherein the user is recognized as an access-requesting user in the event of a match.

  • Patent number: 10934132
Abstract: A destination call, as an example of an action, is automatically generated in an elevator system when detected current connection data correspond to a stored behavior pattern for the usage of the elevator system. A communicative link between a sensor in a sensor system that comprises a multitude of sensors and the mobile electronic device of a passenger is detected, and connection data about the communicative link are recorded. The connection data are compared with data stored in a memory device containing at least one behavior pattern in order to determine whether the connection data correspond to a stored behavior pattern.

  • Publication number: 20210049850
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for checking an access authorization to a building and/or a facility. The method includes receiving an access authorization from a configuration device, said access authorization being valid for a participant invited into the building and/or to the facility, generating a machine-readable code on the basis of the access authorization of the invited participant, transmitting the machine-readable code to a participant mobile device of the participant, reading the machine-readable code by means of a control device and decoding the machine-readable code, checking whether the machine-readable code authorizes the participant to access the building and/or the facility, ascertaining participant information on the basis of machine-readable code, and displaying the participant information by means of the control device such that the participant information can be checked with respect to the participant by a controller.

  • Patent number: 10521992
Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for providing a visitor controlled access into a building. Initially, entrance identification information is provided to a mobile device of the visitor when the mobile device is in close proximity of an entrance of the building. The mobile device then sends the entrance identification information to a remote server. In response the server sends back a list of residents of the building to the mobile device based on the entrance identification information, and the mobile device presents the list of residents to the visitor. The visitor then selects a resident from the list, and subsequently a link is established between the mobile device and a remote device associated with the selected resident. Finally, access grant information is provided to an access control means adapted to control access of the visitor into the building via the entrance.

  • Patent number: 10486941
Abstract: A lift system for moving a car along a track in a guided manner. The lift system having a guide rail system, a car and a drive unit arranged on the car. The guide rail system forms a closed track along which the car can be moved between floors when in operation. The drive unit has a motor, a gear wheel system connected to the motor by a shaft and a guide disk. The guide rail system has a pinion system and guide edges spaced apart from one another, which cooperate with the guide disk. When in operation, the motor drives the gear wheel system and the gear wheel system acts on the pinion system in order to move the car along the track in a guided manner.

  • Patent number: 10482732
Abstract: During an evacuation situation in a building equipped with an elevator system, in which building a plurality of fixed point markers are arranged at specified locations, a sequence of floors (L1, L2, L3) to be evacuated according to which the elevator system services the floors (L1, L2, L3) is determined. The sequence depends on the current traffic situations on the floors (L1, L2, L3). The traffic situation is, in turn, based on the instantaneous positions of the mobile devices. These positions are each determined in each case when a mobile device, by means of data received from a first fixed point marker, accesses a database in which the data is linked to a site of the first fixed point marker.

  • Patent number: 10441495
Abstract: In order to guide a person along a path, audible acoustic signals are used, which are generated by signal generators arranged in an area. The person can orient themselves in the area using these acoustic signals. As the person moves along the path towards a destination, the signal generator arranged next in line on the path generates an acoustic signal, in which direction the person can then move. A signal generator generates an acoustic signal of this type, when it receives a control command from a mobile device carried with the person or from a control device.

  • Patent number: 10389729
Abstract: An access control system is configured to detect the presence of a portable electronic device carried by a user in a first area. The access control system sends an access code to the device. In a second area, the user presents the portable electronic device to an access terminal, which reads the access code from the device. If the access code read from the device matches the access code that was sent to the device by the system, then the access control system grants access to the user.
