  • Publication number: 20210163042
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for stopping a self-driving vehicle (10), starting with determining an approach of the vehicle (10) to a specified stopping point (83). In addition, at least one moving object (70) is detected within the environment of the vehicle. A projected trajectory (84) of the vehicle (10) and a projected trajectory (85) of the object (70) at a first point in time t1 are determined. Based on the projected trajectory (84) of the vehicle (10), a second point in time t2 is then determined, at which the vehicle (10) arrives at the specified stopping point (83). Based on the position and speed of the object (70) at the second point in time t2 determined on the basis of the projected trajectory (85) of the object (70), a collision probability between the object (70) and a door (15) or a passenger of the vehicle (10) at the specified stopping point (83) at the second point in time t2 is determined.

  • Patent number: 8196162
Abstract: Advertisements and other media content may be placed with or in content items according to contextual information relating to particular portions of the content. For example, advertisements may be matched to products shown in a movie, lyrics used in a song or places named in a work of literature. The contextual information may be defined in a contextual data track of the content item similar to video tracks for video and audio tracks for audio. Accordingly, a content provider or a viewing device may, prior to or during play of a content item, automatically request advertisements or other media content based at least in part on the contextual information stored in the contextual data track of the content item. • Publication number: 20080177858
Abstract: Providing dynamic bookmarks via a user device involves configuring a network access program user interface with dynamic bookmarks that facilitate user access of network content via the network access program. Data that describes the arrangement of the dynamic bookmarks is received via a network. The arrangement of the dynamic bookmarks is based on the inputs of a plurality of third party service providers. The dynamic bookmarks are updated via the network access program user interface in response to receiving the data.
