  • Publication number: 20130228420
Abstract: A power roller conveyor system includes a section having a slide mechanism that engages a loop that is driven by an external motor. The loop slides along a surface of the slide mechanism. The slide mechanism maintains the loop in frictional engagement with surfaces of rollers of the conveyor, whereby the rollers are directly driven by the loop. A wheel may bridge a directly driven roller and another roller that is not driven. The other roller and driven roller bridged by the wheel may be separated by an intermediate roller. The section may be a straight section, a 90 degree curved section, or a 180 degree curved section.

  • Patent number: 7035699
Abstract: The present invention comprises a system dedicated to computerized information management. In particular, the system is efficiently targeted for employment by industries such as insurance and financial services where it is of interest to effect integrated prospect selection and management. To this end, the present invention can prevent multiple agents from pursuing the same lead at the same time, while collecting data on effectiveness of leads from agents to thereby enhance the quality of prospect information, as well as providing a capability so that an individual agent can tailor particular lead selection preferences.

  • Publication number: 20030034483
Abstract: A portable and transportable floor jack for use in lifting a vehicle, the vehicle including underside extending frame rails associated with first and second sides of the vehicle. The floor jack includes a substantially plate-shaped member having a specified length, width and thickness and is typically provided with a generally square shaped configuration. A hydraulically powered cylinder assembly is contained within a housing secured to and extending upwardly from an upper face of the plate-shaped member. The cylinder assembly includes a vertically actuable shaft terminating in an upwardly facing cradle portion adapted for engaging a selected underside location of one of the vehicle frame rails. A plurality of castors are mounted at selected corner locations of a lower face of the plate shaped member, the castors permitting multi-axial and transportable motion of the floor jack across a floor support surface.

  • Patent number: 6293897
Abstract: A storage bag formed from a thermoplastic film includes a pad secured to the inside bottom thereof. The pad is disposed adjacent the bag material at or near the bottom by one or more strips of material extending across the pad. Each strip has an intermediate portion extending over the pad and two opposed portions each affixed on opposite sides of the intermediate portion to the bag material. If a single strip is used to secure the pad, the single strip has a sufficiently narrow width that the pad extends preferably beyond the strip on opposite sides of the intermediate portion. If two strips are used to secure the pad, each strip is disposed at a spacing to the other in extending over the pad. Thus, in either case at least part of the pad is exposed and uncovered by the strips of material.

  • Patent number: 6126317
Abstract: A container in which an opening is formed by tearing includes a sidewall having a primary weakened line extending a length between opposed linear ends thereof, tearing along the primary weakened line forming an opening in the sidewall; and two secondary weakened lines formed in said sidewall, each said secondary weakened line including a portion thereof disposed in spaced, partially overlapping parallel relation to a respective said linear end of said primary weakened line, said portion of each said secondary weakened line having a length substantially less than said length between said ends of said primary weakened line. The secondary weakened lines each consist of a single elongated slit. Alternatively, the secondary weakened lines are substantially U-shaped; L-shaped; T-shaped; I-shaped; C-shape; or spirally shaped and may merge with the opposed ends of the primary weakened line. A web of material for forming bags on a form fill machine includes these primary weakened lines and secondary weakened lines.

  • Patent number: 6078892
Abstract: A method for retrieving information from a database includes pre-scoring each of a plurality of records in the database to determine their relevance to a particular item of interest, specifying at least one trait corresponding to a type of information sought to be retrieved, searching the database to derive a collection of records which satisfy the trait, and ordering the records in the first collection to identify the records most relevant to the item of interest. In order to further derive the most relevant records, a plurality of traits may be specified to effect multiple levels of searching. A predetermined number of the records may then be output without superfluous information, to increase the density, clarity, and coherency of the output. Records may then be selected for pursuit. A system and computer process implement one or more steps of the method.
