    Abstract: A boom arm safety lock including a pivotally-mounted boom arm and a fluid cylinder assembly for pivoting the arm up and down. A lock bar is pivotally mounted adjacent the boom arm for upwardly supporting the boom arm in the event the fluid in the cylinder assembly is exhausted, and the boom arm will therefore remain in the raised position.
